BLACK GOLD

Capitalism in the Public Realm – Black Gold – A site specific sculptural installation on the oil industry in perspective of the vernacular cultures of indigenous, tribal and local communities across the middle east. Located in the Empty Quarter – Rub Al’Khali desert in the UAE. Created during an artist residency located in the LIWA Oasis in conjunction with ISEA Dubai 2014.
